The Andrew J Volstead House Museum will open May 13, 2022 through October 15, 2022. It is currently closed except for special events. Hours during the summer season are Friday 1-5 and Saturday 11-3. Depending on staff availability, group tours of 10 or more are available on other dates with a fee of $5 per person.

Nellies Escape Room is now available $19 per person. $10 for 10-16 years old. We recommend groups smaller than 10. To ensure a spot email for an appointment during our Friday and Saturday open hours.


June 18- August 31 Minnesota Cooperatives – 100 Years, Photography exhibit on display at Bluenose Gopher Public House Cooperative, the Granite Area Arts council and the Volstead House. The artist reception for photographers Scott Tedrick and Jessica Stolen-Jacobsen will be held at the Volstead House on June 25 at 3 PM. 30 unique cooperative businesses throughout Minnesota were interviewed and photographed last summer for this exhibit that celebrates Andrew Volstead’s Capper-Volstead Act, the Magna Carta of Cooperatives.

October 28 and 29 Murder on the Yellowstone Trail. The Granite Falls Historical Society and the Granite Area Arts Council present two evenings of Halloween fun with a murder mystery dinner at The Rock. Get your flapper clothes ready for this 1920s themed dinner. This event is created and hosted by Paul Warsharer of Murders4Fun. Online ticket link coming soon – $45 for early bird tickets, $50 the week of the event.
