2022 is the 100th Anniversary of the Capper-Volstead Act, the framework of cooperative businesses that is still used today. The Granite Falls Historical Society is currently creating an exhibit of 30 Minnesota cooperatives funded by a Minnesota State Arts Board Grant. The exhibit will open in February of 2022.
The 100th Anniversary of Prohibition is ongoing through 2033, the 100th Anniversary of the Volstead legislation was celebrated in 2019 and 2020 with a creative walking theater performance of Over the Barrel, A Prohibition Musical and other special events.

April 7, 1933 – legal sales of beer were allowed, National Beer Day
December 5, 1933, Repeal Day, the 21st Amendment was ratified repealing Prohibition
